Our air scaler repairs include a complete disassembly of the dental air scaler. Removal of the main housing, spindle shaft, rotor, o-rings, suspension grommet, crimp rings, o-rings, and water line brace; an inspection of all components for wear or blemishes during the disassembly process. We will replace all critical and worn components with high-quality new components. We will then reassemble the main spindle housing and drive components and install the new assembly into the scaler housing. Finally, we will test the newly rebuilt scaler for vibration, water atomization, and power.
If these signs are present, it is likely that the air scaler needs repair: A lack of hose connection, little to no water flowing out, no vibration, and a tip that does not lock or screw in all indicate to an air scaler problem. Moreover, water pouring from the base is a strong indicator that the air scaler requires repair.
